Summarization: In panel 1, he pulls back and tries to resist the change. The forces of his resistance and his body bending build up until his rear end snaps (Panel 2), and he falls to the ground. All he can do is scream as his rear back pushes up and his new body takes shape.
Yeah, I'm a science nerd. I am so much of one, I did this!
O.K., you know how girls go on for days without eating to lose weight because they hate their current state? Well, I did the same thing, but not for the looks or hate. I wanted to see how long I could last without succumbing to food. I recorded how long, what I felt, everything! I lasted eight days... Pffft, I was eight years old at the time when I decided to do that, and I tried it again at age 10 to see if I get different results... I lasted half of my original...
So I concluded, as you're going through changes in puberty, you need more energy because of bodily changes and hormones, hence the fact that I eat more than I did when I was eight, which was five years ago. I would most likely eat less when I'm seventeen or eighteen, because most of the major changes are done and over with. And because males start puberty later than females, that's why they eat more during their teen years than the rest of life. And I concluded this at age ten and confirmed it at age eleven! Aren't I smart? . . . I need to get a real life... ._.
YOUR BONES REFORM BY BREAKING AND STRETCHING, YOUR SKIN AND MUSCLES STRETCH, CLAWS SPLIT BETWEEN YOUR NAILS, FUR FORCES OUT OF YOUR SKIN, AND SOMETIMES A TAIL IS FORCED OUT OF YOUR SPINE!!! WHAT DO YOU THINK, SHERLOCK?! . . . But I'd trade this with my period any day!
